CHRISTMAS EVERYDAY!! December 17,2108

Woohoo! It's almost Christmas!!! One of our favorite songs right now is Christmas everyday by David archuleta. It you haven't heard it, I encourage you to go listen to it and his whole album. Ah. So good! It's been an eventful week as well!

We had MLC in bentonville which is where we went and talked about plans for our zone conference and future district councils. It was so much fun! Sister Rosenberg was called to be the other sister training leader so we get to go to that meeting together and we were able to do exchanges all day Wednesday and I stayed in Prairie Grove. It was so cool!!! I got to see a lot of the people I love and miss from that area. It was a blast being able to see them and be in their homes again. We had zone conference on Thursday and it was so fun! Since its Christmas it was a 2 hour meeting and the rest was just games and a talent show. Super cool! There are a ton of talented missionaries here. There was singing, kickboxing, roller skating, piano playing, and a special performance by our mission president and a couple other missionaries. It was fantastic!

Then we had exchanges when we came back to Van Buren and it was a blast! We went to the senior center for the first time and they had me call put bingo. It was so fun! They said, you'll have to come back when you're older and you and can play just like us! Haha then we had our Christmas parade on Saturday! It was the coolest thing ever. We were able to Light The World and share so many pass a long cards with people and something cool that we weren't planning on was our float got 1st place!! Woohoo! It was great being out in the community.

What was very special and meaningful was our testimony meeting before all the games. We were all able to go up if we felt impressed and missionaries shared how they have come to know Jesus Christ. It was amazing! I was thinking the whole time about what is my relationship to my Savior?? As I looked back and pondered I realized I have such a strong relationship with Him. I know who He is and what His life means to me. It means that I can change and experience JOY. He loves me and all of us so much! He set the perfect example. While I was in Prairie Grove we talked to one of our recent converts and he was telling us about how he was having a hard time and so I asked him what he does to make him feel better. Like, what helps him not feel depressed. He said meeting with the missionaries, getting a priesthood blessing, young men's, going to church. As he was saying these things it clicked in my head that the reason was because he was turning to Christ. He felt Christs love when he talked to the missionaries, read the scriptures, went to church, received the blessing. Christ is the source of all healing, love, peace, and joy. As we turn to Him by doing the things He has asked us to do, we will feel those things. It's that simple! He loves us and wants us to come closer to Him, so He set the example and we are to follow. I know this is true and I am so very grateful for this knowledge. I hope you can all think about what your relationship to Christ is and if you feel down, TURN TO HIM. He will truly help you feel the love, peace, and joy you desire.

I love this gospel, I love being a missionary, I love Light The World, and i love my Savior Jesus Christ. He is the reason for the season and i hope to never forget that.

I love and miss you all!! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! ❤😊

Temple Tuesday November 13, 2017

Hey Friends!! This week was so fun!! We had the amazing opportunity to go to the St.Louis temple this week! I loved it so much! I am so grateful we were able to go because we don't have on in our mission, but blessed with the best mission president :) We also had a fun time with our zone this week and did interviews with our mission president and his wife. They are such great people with lots of advice for us missionaries, I love it!  Something amazing that happened this week was we had exchanges with the traveling sisters (they go around the mission visiting all the sisters) and so there were four sisters just in our area, but it was the busiest day of the week! We had so many lessons that with each companionship we didn't have any gaps of time. It was such a cool miracle because we were able to teach so many people and have such a great experience. I just thought that was so cool!  Another thing that I started this week was reading the Book of Mormon and just...

FAREWELL VAN BUREN January 14, 2019

TRANSFERS!!! I am..... leaving! I am going to Mountain Home Arkansas where I will spend my last 6 weeks on the mission! Crazy!! I'm sad to leave Van Buren, but excited to go and make the most of this last transfer. Sister Buhler is staying and training so that's super awesome! I'm going to be with Sister Chandler (I haven't met her yet so that's exciting!) But I'll also be in the same district (area) as my MTC companion sister McNeil!!! I'm so excited about that! In addition to transfer calls, it's been an adventure of a week! So much I feel like has happened. We sang at Bob and Wanda's last Monday and the Vines and Yannick from Prairie Grove came down to see me!! It was so awesome! Another thing that happened was we got a lot of referrals! We had our meeting with the other missionaries on Wednesday and we set a challenge for each of us to find 3 new people to teach before Sunday and so we all were out and working hard to find people a...

BANISH YOUR DOUBTS!! July 16, 2018

Hey friends and family!!  This week was great!! I learned a lot this week. We had interviews with our mission president and his wife and we talked about our doubts. We talked about what are doubts are, where they come from, and most importantly, how to banish them. It was so great!   I loved the list we created for HOW we can banish them. It's easy to think of the doubts and mostly figure out where they're from, but knowing how to get rid of them is the hardest part so I am very grateful for the list we made. I have been focusing on the small victories and other people. This has helped me think more about how it's not about me, it's about those I am serving and working with. This helps me focus on my purpose and the positives leaving no more room for doubts.  We all came up with a list of how to banish them, here is some of the list: >Faith >Perspective  >focus on small victories >attitude/mindset >Positives!  >ACT, ...
