CHARLIE GOT BAPTIZED!! September 12, 2018

Hey family and friends!!

So sorry it's been so long since I've emailed. It's been crazy over here in Arkansas, but good news! First, Charlie got baptized on Saturday!! It was AMAZING! It was such a wonderful privilege to be a part of that special day for her. Second, I am staying in Prairie Grove another transfer!! Woohoo! Also, I will still be with sister Rosenberg! We will be together 3 transfers! That's pretty rare so we are excited about that. I absolutely love it here. The people are wonderful and the work is going so well! (:

Charlies baptism went so well and we had a lot of people there supporting her. It was so tender, because he husband who has some medical issues and hasn't been able to come to church in a while, was doing good that night and was able to baptized her! It was such a miracle and a blessing.

We had a member in our ward pass away on Sunday. It was hard to say goodbye, but he lived an amazing life. He was one of the first people I met when I came here and he was so nice! He also always came to our gospel principles class which was so great because he would share such a sweet testimony every time. He loved sharing the gospel and teaching others the truth that he has found. He was a wonderful example of Jesus Christ and I very much admired him. They had a wonderful service for him today and it was so tender how everyone talked about the love and kindness he shared with others. I definitely feel that we should all try to be more like that, as members of the church we are represtatives of Jesus Christ and we should be doing our best to learn of Him and be Like Him. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and His greatest example, but I am also so grateful for the members and people around us everyday who strive to live their lives the way the Savior did. I love this gospel, I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I love the people here in Prairie Grove Arkansas.

I hope you all have a wonderful week! Never forget who showed the way for you (:

SMALL AND SIMPLE January 21, 2019

Hello friends and family!  It has been an adventure of a week, that's for sure! We had a super fun last night at Bob and Wanda's. Some of the people from Prairie Grove came down to hear me sing again. It was sad saying goodbye to everyone, but I know Heavenly Father has a plan for me. Then we went to the Senior center on Tuesday and delivered meals to 66 different houses! That was fun running around and giving people meals. They were a lot more open and excited to see us, that's for sure :) Haha! Then we had my last group lesson Tuesday night. We did the Book of Mormon experiment and had everyone take a page from the Book of Mormon and then highlight every time it mentions the Savior and things that stood out to you. We had an amazing discussion and everyone participated in it. So good!! Wednesday I packed and said goodbye to more people, I definitely miss Van Buren. But. Thursday I made it safely to MOUNTAIN HOME!! woohoo!! I met my new companion sister Chandler and she ...

ROUTE 66 April 25, 2018

This week we had Zone Conference and went on exchanges in Joplin again. It was a blast! We enjoyed learning so much from our mission president and his wife. Good things are happening and I love it! We talked a lot about personal revelation as well. It's very important for us to recognize how Heavenly Father speaks to us so that we can act on the things we are prompted to do. So many good things, I'm not even sure what to tell you! haha  My wonderful companion and I went and played volleyball with our investigator, we just rode by and they were out playing so we joined them and Sister Najera went to hit the ball and I was talking with our investigator and she nailed me in the head. It was so funny! Luckily it was a soft ball, but it just reminded me of the times playing volleyball with the YSA back home. We also met the guy who owns the little Dairy King in commerce which is a landmark on Route 66. It was so cool! He had previously met with missionaries and has read the who...
