Happy Thanksgiving!!!  I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving on Thursday ! My companion and I were nicely fed by our new Bishop and his family. It was so nice! It's been an adventure shotgunning this area with two new missionaries. The area is huge here, but the members are few. Also, we don't have a car yet and we aren't sure if we will get one and my bike is in Bentonville sadly so we will have to wait till the end of this week to get that. So right now we are walking! It's been fun though, because we've been able to talk to more people that way. However we can only walk around Miami and it's a lot of walking haha but I love being here! :)  My companion is Sister Knight and she's from South Ogden Utah and has been out 6 Months. She has been in three areas as well and we get along great! We've been really working hard to get to know all the members and get to know the area since we are both new and there haven't been missionaries since J

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving! Thank you so much everyone for all the wonderful emails and letters you send me! It really makes my day, I love it! This week has been so crazy, but so much fun! We had two exchanges with some other sisters in the mission and so there were four sisters in our area for two days so it was a blast! haha we had fun, because at the end of each exchange it's a tradition to get ice cream, so we got lots of ice cream. :) We had a lot of miracles happen this week, the first one is this girl named Leah. She is AMAZING! She saw us at the table we have on campus one day and came up to us saying she was a Mormon so we invited her to all the activities and she started to come. We just thought she was a less active, but turns out she has never been baptized, but she wants to be! It was so cool talking to her and hearing her testimony. She has set the date for December and it's just so awesome! She grew up with he

Hey Friends!! This week was so fun!! We had the amazing opportunity to go to the St.Louis temple this week! I loved it so much! I am so grateful we were able to go because we don't have on in our mission, but blessed with the best mission president :) We also had a fun time with our zone this week and did interviews with our mission president and his wife. They are such great people with lots of advice for us missionaries, I love it!  Something amazing that happened this week was we had exchanges with the traveling sisters (they go around the mission visiting all the sisters) and so there were four sisters just in our area, but it was the busiest day of the week! We had so many lessons that with each companionship we didn't have any gaps of time. It was such a cool miracle because we were able to teach so many people and have such a great experience. The Springfield, MO missionaries took a trip to the St. Louis Temple with President Loveland. I woke up this morning to two pictures of Mariah at the temple with Bobbi Lee. Bobbi has been my friend since I was pregnant with Mariah and living in Michigan. She now lives in St. Louis. We didn't live near each other very long but I have always felt she was my long-lost sister I never had. I love this friend of mine. Thank you, Bobbi, for giving Mariah a hug and kiss from me!

I didn't think I would be getting an email from Mariah since we were notified that the missionaries in the Springfield area were having interviews with President Loveland. What a fun surprise when I got not only a text from President Loveland but a picture too! "Thank you for sending this awesome missionary to Arkansas." -President Loveland

HEY FRIENDS!!  How is everyone doing?? This week has been so good here in Springfield Missouri! I hope the same for all of you! We started the week off with Halloween which was fun, we got to spend time with the members at Institute (Bible study class). Then we had exchanges with the sisters serving in Camdenton Missouri. It's fun because one of them just came out so I am no longer the greenest greenie out here anymore :) One amazing that has happened this week is we had the Regional Broadcast yesterday! It was soo good! They talked a lot about missionary work and how can we go out and help serve others, I loved it. I loved how they all mentioned asking how can we serve in different ways. The one that stood out to me was "Lord, what wilt though have me to do?" I love this because it shows our willingness to do whatever the Lord would have us do and shows that we love and trust Him.
