ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS July 23, 2018

Woohoo Hello Familyyyy!! (Picture the guy on frozen as you read it)  What an adventurous week!! I am doing great! I am loving this area and the people. It's been really fun getting to know everyone more. We got a couch this week!! A member here sold their lake house and had an extra couch, so who better to give it to then the missionaries! haha so now we have it and it is wonderful. So, I got a journal from my friend back home that says "Enjoy the little things." I've been thinking about what to write in it and then I thought, why not just write the little things that I love that are happening. It's been so amazing to see! I've been writing down the miracles and the blessings that have been happening and it's really eye opening to see that things really are happening. I was also studying the gospel of Jesus Christ the other day and I really focused on the first two points, Through Christ we can be cleansed from sin and Faith in Jesus Christ. I lov

BANISH YOUR DOUBTS!! July 16, 2018

Hey friends and family!!  This week was great!! I learned a lot this week. We had interviews with our mission president and his wife and we talked about our doubts. We talked about what are doubts are, where they come from, and most importantly, how to banish them. It was so great!   I loved the list we created for HOW we can banish them. It's easy to think of the doubts and mostly figure out where they're from, but knowing how to get rid of them is the hardest part so I am very grateful for the list we made. I have been focusing on the small victories and other people. This has helped me think more about how it's not about me, it's about those I am serving and working with. This helps me focus on my purpose and the positives leaving no more room for doubts.  We all came up with a list of how to banish them, here is some of the list: >Faith >Perspective  >focus on small victories >attitude/mindset >Positives!  >ACT, move ahead, g

TRY IT!!! July 9, 2018

Hello Friends and Family! This week was super good! I learned a lot! We got to meet our new Mission President and his wife this week! yay! They are so sweet! I am very excited to be able to work with them, even though it is sad to see the Lovelands go, they were amazing. I'm President and Sister Strong will be too! One thing I learned from President Strong this week was to TRY IT. He talked a little bit about how you won't know unless you try. This really stuck out to me because it works so well with everything! Like, you never know if that person is going to be interested in the gospel unless you try talking to them, right? You don't know if you'll be good at something unless you try. I love this so much! I'm not sure why it clicked so well, but it did. and it's TRUE! We are here to TRY. We have been sent to earth and given the gift of agency to try things. To try to improve and be better. We can't become perfect at something unless we try. I am so g

BIRTHDAY AND WEDDING ADVENTURES July 2, 2018

Thank you so much everyone who wished me Happy Birthday!! I really appreciated it and felt all of your love!!  This week was so great! We had an adventurous time running around from appointment to appointment, but I love being so busy!  okay so Saturday, my Birthday. It started out as a wonderful morning and my companion made me yummy cookie butter waffles and we got ready and put on pants since we were going to do service which was so great! Then, we walked outside and.. I left the keys inside... so we ended up being locked out for like an hour and so we started talking with our neighbors to get the landlords number. It was great because we got to get to know everyone better and then finally we were able to get in through the bedroom window which was fun. Then we went and did service and tried to visit lots of people. It was really good. We also did some tracting and met super nice people! We went to see this referral who is moving in and right as we got there they said the m
