Hey Friends and Family!!  This week has been so good over here in Miami! We are working so hard to find more people to teach and it's been so fun. This week we had our Zone conference and stake conference and they were both amazing! I had to teach a little bit in zone conference which was scary, but it went well so that's good :) I am learning so much! It's been a good week full of information that I am learning about how to be a better missionary and how to help the people in my area. Sister Najera is doing fantastic! It's been so fun training her and helping her learn more about missionary life. It's exciting :) She also makes me Mexican food which is such a great bonus and blessing! haha  Stake Conference was amazing! President Tillman from the stake spoke and he talked about preparing to pray. I had never really thought much about this, but the way he talked about it made me want to focus on what I am praying for more and how I am preparing myself to pr

I'M TRAINING?! February 12, 2018

Good Morning!!  So guess what?? I am staying in Miami another 6 weeks and I will be training Sister Lopez! I am so excited and nervous at the same time! I know nothing about her yet other than her name, so it will be fun to get to know her. I am so sad to have to say goodbye to Sister Robinette though. We have had so much fun together and it's just been a blast, but I know we will always be friends and I know I'll have fun with Sister Lopez as well :)  We went on exchanges with the Joplin Sisters so we had four sisters in this area! It was so much fun! We also had district meeting in our building which was exciting and different. We had to do the dying pictures because Elder Rodgers and Sister Robinette are going home this week. That's why we have those pictures. It was fun. It's going to be sad when they leave, we've had an amazing district this transfer. But it'll be fun next week too with our new district! I still can't believe I'm staying her

PLANNING WITH THE LORD February 5, 2018

Hey Everyone!!  I have learned so much this week! Especially how to plan with the Lord. We set our goals this week to hit standard and find 7 new investigators, have 2 investigators on date, and have at least 4 at church. It was AMAZING! I have never prayed so hard and trusted in the Lord so much to help us find people and to reach our goals. We really focused on the people that we felt and prayed for to determine who was ready to set a baptismal date. We were able to set a date with our investigator that Sister Robinette actually taught a year ago. Then, yesterday was really the trial of our faith, because in the morning we got two calls from investigators who said they were sick and wouldn't make it to church. We were sad to hear that, but we knew the Lord would help us have someone there. Then right before the meeting started three investigators walked in and there were already two sitting down and it was a miracle! I was so full of gratitude so I went and shared my testimon
