BIRTHDAY AND WEDDING ADVENTURES July 2, 2018

Thank you so much everyone who wished me Happy Birthday!! I really appreciated it and felt all of your love!!

This week was so great! We had an adventurous time running around from appointment to appointment, but I love being so busy!

okay so Saturday, my Birthday. It started out as a wonderful morning and my companion made me yummy cookie butter waffles and we got ready and put on pants since we were going to do service which was so great! Then, we walked outside and.. I left the keys inside... so we ended up being locked out for like an hour and so we started talking with our neighbors to get the landlords number. It was great because we got to get to know everyone better and then finally we were able to get in through the bedroom window which was fun. Then we went and did service and tried to visit lots of people. It was really good. We also did some tracting and met super nice people! We went to see this referral who is moving in and right as we got there they said the moving truck will be here any minute and so we helped them unload the truck in our skirts. We felt so bad, because we didn't know it was going to be that day so we weren't prepared with other people or pants, but that's okay. It ended up being really great and we were able to meet new people! Then we went to the Vine's Wedding. It was so cute! It so fun being able to be a part of their special day!! Bert is learning about the church and Sister Vines is such a wonderful member and helper to the missionaries. She's the best! It was a great way to spend my 20th birthday. :)

on a more spiritual note, we met two people this week who have had amazing experiences with the gospel. They both knew members and missionaries from before and were looking for that next step in their life. We got to meet and talk with them and we will hopefully be going back to start teaching and working with them! It was such a miracle. Another thing that happened this week was we went to the Pentecostal church with one of the people we are teaching. We said we'd go to your church, and then you can come to our church. It was such a neat experience to be able to go and see what they believe and see the similarities to our church. Although, there are many things different, you can tell they really have a desire to do what is right. After we went we came back to our church for 3rd hour and we talked to one of the members of the Bishopric about it and I was asking if they all believe the same thing. He said it depends on the pastor and then he said, it really is amazing to see how our church is the same. no matter where you go in the world, if you go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, it is the same. We have the same lessons, we do the same things, just different people. Being able to go helped remind me of how blessed we are to have the Book of Mormon and the knowledge of the Restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It makes me want to share with others so much more!

I'm so grateful for all the things I am learning and the opportunity to be here sharing the gospel with the people in Arkansas. Thank you so much for your love and prayers!! I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of JULY!!!

SMALL AND SIMPLE January 21, 2019

Hello friends and family!  It has been an adventure of a week, that's for sure! We had a super fun last night at Bob and Wanda's. Some of the people from Prairie Grove came down to hear me sing again. It was sad saying goodbye to everyone, but I know Heavenly Father has a plan for me. Then we went to the Senior center on Tuesday and delivered meals to 66 different houses! That was fun running around and giving people meals. They were a lot more open and excited to see us, that's for sure :) Haha! Then we had my last group lesson Tuesday night. We did the Book of Mormon experiment and had everyone take a page from the Book of Mormon and then highlight every time it mentions the Savior and things that stood out to you. We had an amazing discussion and everyone participated in it. So good!! Wednesday I packed and said goodbye to more people, I definitely miss Van Buren. But. Thursday I made it safely to MOUNTAIN HOME!! woohoo!! I met my new companion sister Chandler and she ...

ROUTE 66 April 25, 2018

This week we had Zone Conference and went on exchanges in Joplin again. It was a blast! We enjoyed learning so much from our mission president and his wife. Good things are happening and I love it! We talked a lot about personal revelation as well. It's very important for us to recognize how Heavenly Father speaks to us so that we can act on the things we are prompted to do. So many good things, I'm not even sure what to tell you! haha  My wonderful companion and I went and played volleyball with our investigator, we just rode by and they were out playing so we joined them and Sister Najera went to hit the ball and I was talking with our investigator and she nailed me in the head. It was so funny! Luckily it was a soft ball, but it just reminded me of the times playing volleyball with the YSA back home. We also met the guy who owns the little Dairy King in commerce which is a landmark on Route 66. It was so cool! He had previously met with missionaries and has read the who...
