DO I TRUST THAT THE LORD WILL FULFILL HIS PROMISES?? September 17, 2018

Hey!!

Oh man, this week was so fun! I know I just wrote on Wednesday, but we had a blast with a certain family in our ward this week. We also had an amazing spiritual experience as well. So there's a family in our ward named the Fox's and they have taken us in as the adopted daughters pretty much. it's the best. They are so funny!! We goof off with them and have great lessons with them as well. They have a son who is 15 and he loves to joke around with us. They called us the other day and invited us to go to lunch with them because they saw we were home at our apartment. They are so sweet! So, don't worry, I am definitely being taken care of here in Arkansas :)

We also had a lesson with Yannick this week (the one who randomly walked into church one day) and he is doing AMAZING!! He is recognizing the Spirit at church and when he's with the members of the ward. He loves it and so we are going to be working towards the next step in his conversion! He is preparing for baptism, but we aren't entirely sure which day yet. It's very exciting to see him change. During our lesson on Friday we talked about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how important it is to Endure/Enjoy to the end. It doesn't stop after he's baptized and confirmed. There is much more that we continue to do after as we serve in the church and renew the covenants we have made. He felt the Spirit very strong as we talked about it. We also talked about Hope. I have been studying Hope this week and I love how preach my gospel defines it as "Hope is an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you." I love this! I asked myself do I trust that the Lord will fulfill his promises to me?? and it took lots of thinking, but I have come to the conclusion that I do. I absolutely trust in Heavenly Father. I know that He has a plan for me and loves me so much. He has promised me and everyone so many things, but asks that we follow His son and trust in Him. I know that as we do, we will draw closer to Him and receive those blessings. Yannick also loves the scriptures and the talks given by President Nelson. I am so excited for him to watch General Conference, he's going to love it!! It's so wonderful!!

We also had a stake relief society activity this week and we made blankets for children in need!! It was wonderful, we made over 100 blankets! I absolutely love doing service! Which, we also were able to help someone we are teaching plant a garden this week. It was an awesome opportunity to fellowship and get to know her! We absolutely loved it and hopefully we will be seeing more of her. :)

I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge we have of Him. I am so excited to be staying in Prairie Grove and have the opportunity to teach such amazing people! I know that the Lord has a plan for each of us, we just need to exercise our faith and hope in Him. :)

FIREFLIES AND RAIN! May 29, 2018

Hello friends and family!!  This week was so good! We had a lot of fun and visited a LOT of people! It was fantastic! The members here are so good to us and really do want to help, so we are working hard with them to help them become even greater missionaries :) It rained a lot at the beginning of the week, but it was fun knocking on peoples door in the rain. We got into a couple houses because of it :) At night the fireflies all come out and it is so AMAZING! There are lots of fields here that are just full of them and it is so cool to see at night. Fun story, so today we got to do a little photo shoot with one our members and her 3 year old son. It was so much fun! Sister Wamsley was a wedding photographer before the mission so she has skills to do it. We took pictures of them making/eating spaghetti and cutting cabbage. It was cute. We were asked to do it for our Mission Presidents wife to use for the family history booth they have in Bentonville. It was really cool

BLESSINGS January 7, 2019

This week was so good and full of blessings! It started with New years eve at Bob and Wanda's. We went and they had all kinds of party toys to celebrate the new year. There were lots of people and as we were sitting there talking with our recent convert and his family (people we are trying to teach) and then these people behind saw us and talked to us for a minute and then later that night they gave us their phone number and addresses and told us to stop by soon. It was amazing!  Tuesday we had interviews with our mission president and his wife and it was wonderful. It's so good being able to talk to them. We can tell how much they truly love and care about us which is super good. That night we had our big group lesson and we were on exchanges so I took our greenie that's down here and it was such a great lesson! At first, it was crazy and chaotic. There were so many people and lots of different t conversations at once. But after we said we would like to share a messag
