Temple Tuesday November 13, 2017

Hey Friends!!

This week was so fun!! We had the amazing opportunity to go to the St.Louis temple this week! I loved it so much! I am so grateful we were able to go because we don't have on in our mission, but blessed with the best mission president :)

We also had a fun time with our zone this week and did interviews with our mission president and his wife. They are such great people with lots of advice for us missionaries, I love it!

Something amazing that happened this week was we had exchanges with the traveling sisters (they go around the mission visiting all the sisters) and so there were four sisters just in our area, but it was the busiest day of the week! We had so many lessons that with each companionship we didn't have any gaps of time. It was such a cool miracle because we were able to teach so many people and have such a great experience. I just thought that was so cool!

Another thing that I started this week was reading the Book of Mormon and just highlighting each time it says Christ's name and the phrases that go with it. I LOVE this! I am learning so much about Jesus Christ and his attributes. I did this because I wanted to be able to represent Christ the best way possible, and what better way then to learn more about who He was first so that I can strive to be more like him. Especially as we are coming up on this Christmas season. I hope you all are finding ways that you can become more like Christ and best represent Him back home :)

Also, the #Lighttheworld video comes out next Friday!! Make sure to be looking for it so you can see all the amazing things you can do this year! I'm so pumped for this and I hope you all are too! :)

I am so grateful for this opportunity that I have to be out here in Missouri sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone. Thank you all so much for all your love and support!! I really appreciate it!

Hey Y'all!! This week was sooo good!! There are so many things that happened I don't know where to start. Last week on Pday we went to the Walmart Museum which was really cool! It was fun learning about the history, plus the best part was the ice cream at the end haha :) Then on Tuesday we went on exchanges and I went with Sister Buttars who is super funny and it was cool seeing her area of the mission. Funny story: One night this week we had dinner with a family and they didn't have dessert which we thought was great because we get fed so much. Then we went walking in a neighborhood visiting some members and we stopped at three houses. All three said, would you like a cookie?? So we had lots of cookies haha it was fun though. One of those houses was our mission president, because they are in our ward so that was fun :) Thursday we went to the mission office and got a Tiwi.. it's the thing that monitors our cars and ours has been broken until now. OKLAHOMA ADVENTURES November 27, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving on Thursday ! My companion and I were nicely fed by our new Bishop and his family. It was so nice! It's been an adventure shotgunning this area with two new missionaries. The area is huge here, but the members are few. Also, we don't have a car yet and we aren't sure if we will get one and my bike is in Bentonville sadly so we will have to wait till the end of this week to get that. So right now we are walking! It's been fun though, because we've been able to talk to more people that way. However we can only walk around Miami and it's a lot of walking haha but I love being here! :) My companion is Sister Knight and she's from South Ogden Utah and has been out 6 Months. She has been in three areas as well and we get along great! We've been really working hard to get to know all the members and get to know the area since we are both new and there haven't been missionaries since J...
