#BECAUSE OF HIM March 12,2018

Hey y'all!! I hope this week was fantastic for everyone! 

We had a really good week! We got to go on exchanges in Joplin, which I got to be with Sister Tillotson! She was my first companion in the mission (my trainer) so that was way fun working with her again! We've had a lot of fun using our technology to help the work progress in this area. It's so great!! 

We had a miracle just yesterday. We decided to go try a few of the potentials that we had just put in the area book app on our phones. We rode our bikes which was great being able to be seen by lots of people.It's so fun waving at them, because you get some pretty funny looks when you are riding a bike, in the cold, wearing a skirt haha. Then we knocked on some of the doors and then we had one more person on the map in that area to try. His name is Matt and we knocked on the door, it was a younger girl who answered and said he didn't live there anymore, but after we told her who we were she invited us in right away! So cool! We met her boyfriend Angel, who had grown up going to the LDS church with his grandma who is a member. His mom and some of his siblings got baptized and they always had the missionaries over. They were very open with us and they had both just moved there together and are looking for a way to build their foundation on Christ. The girl, her name is Marriah (how fun is that! She really spells it with two R's though, that wasn't a mistake) :) and she sais she wanted to learn more and said we could come back whether or not Angel was there. It was an amazing experience, because we were one, able to use our technology to find those potentials on the map and two, we were ale to find those who were prepared and ready to hear the gospel. We share the #Because of Him video with them and gave them both a Book of Mormon. We are so excited to start teaching them! I know that the Lord with help us when we do ACT on our FAITH. I'm so grateful for this experience, because it really has strengthened my testimony in knowing that there are people out there waiting to hear the gospel, we need to make sure we are doing our part to find them. 

The video #BecauseofHim is amazing and I know that Because of Him, we truly can start again and the grave has no victory. I am so grateful that we are out here sharing this message! Being able to take a minute and think about what the Savior has done for each of us individually is just amazing! Everything He went through was for us so that we can return to live with Him again someday. I love this gospel soo much! I am so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ who went through so much so that we don't have to go through it alone. 

Sister Najera and I are having lots of fun together! It's been great watching the work progress! I love being out here in Oklahoma and I love being a missionary!

Mariah is serving in the Arkansas Bentonville Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She entered the MTC in Provo on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She will return in February of 2019. She will serve for 18 months. She is so excited to be out there serving and teaching.   Hey Everyone!!  This week and half have been so good and so crazy!! So it's transfer week and I am being transferred to Springfield Missouri in the YSA ward. I am so excited about it! It's going to be sad leaving everyone here in Sugar Creek, but I'm looking forward to a new adventure with my new companion Sister Sanders :)  Last week on Pday we went to Crystal Bridges which is a very popular art museum here and it was beautiful. If you like art, keep that place in mind to visit one day. Then we had some sisters from Missouri come down for exchanges since Sister Tillotson is their training leader. That was a hoot with all four of us there. Cool story on this exchange: Sister Lloyd and I were together and we went to visit with three potential investigators that everytime sister T and I went they weren't home and guess what??
