HEY Y'ALL!!
It's been a great week!
Sorry I don't have more time to write, but here is a cool miracle that happened this week! I am so very grateful for the opportunity to see the Lord's hand in every day life!
We had a miracle happen yesterday. We were at church and the thunderstorms were insane! Luckily people still made it to church, which was wonderful. As we were trying to greet everyone, Bishop came up to me and told me there was a man in a red shirt who just came in and wasn't a member. He asked me to go say hi to him, so I did! We went up over to him and he said his name was Yannick and he has never been to our church before, but he wanted to come see it for himself. So he came! He was very wet from the rain, but he seemed very happy to be there. Sister Rosenberg and I were already sitting with another one of the people we were teaching and there was no room left on the bench for Yannick. As the meeting started, I felt prompted to go sit with him. Then when the hymn started I decided to go and we all went, including the other person we are teaching. It was so great, because then I was able to answer the questions he had during the meeting. I explained the sacrament and the speakers and we were able to give him a Book of Mormon. It was a wonderful day for him to come, because there was someone giving their homecoming talk and it was perfect for someone new coming to the church. After Sacrament meeting, we invited him to our gospel principles class and he came! He also asked if he could come back next week. Of course, we said yes! It was such a miracle that he was so prepared to come learn more. It was also a testimony builder for me to always act on my promptings, because he probably would've been very confused if we hadn't sat by him to explain everything. Even though it was a huge thing, it was very important for him and for us as missionaries. I am grateful for the opportunity to share with others the gospel of Jesus Christ and help them understand the importance of the sacrament and the baptismal covenant we make with our Heavenly Father. We hope to see him again! :)
