Sweet text I got from Mariah's 9th grade seminary teacher August 5, 2018

This is Brother Heywood. He has family in Prairie Grove and sent me the following text and picture. It was so sweet! He taught Mariah in seminary at Butler Middle School when she was in 9th grade. What a small world!

 "I am sitting behind your beautiful, sweet daughter Mariah(Sister Burton) in fast and testimony meeting right now.  What a wonderful sister she is!  You can tell she is full of the Spirit and really involved in the work.  It looks like she has some investigators in church today.  You must be so proud of her for the marvelous work she is doing and the wonderful woman she has become.

She just got up and bore a sweet, POWERFUL testimony of the Book of Mormon and the Savior Jesus Christ and the truth of the gospel and the Church.  Obviously had some great training  at home and Seminary."

Hey Y'all!!  This week was sooo good!! There are so many things that happened I don't know where to start. Last week on Pday we went to the Walmart Museum which was really cool! It was fun learning about the history, plus the best part was the ice cream at the end haha :) Then on Tuesday we went on exchanges and I went with Sister Buttars who is super funny and it was cool seeing her area of the mission. Funny story: One night this week we had dinner with a family and they didn't have dessert which we thought was great because we get fed so much. Then we went walking in a neighborhood visiting some members and we stopped at three houses. All three said, would you like a cookie?? So we had lots of cookies haha it was fun though. OKLAHOMA ADVENTURES November 27, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving on Thursday ! My companion and I were nicely fed by our new Bishop and his family. It was so nice! It's been an adventure shotgunning this area with two new missionaries. The area is huge here, but the members are few. Also, we don't have a car yet and we aren't sure if we will get one and my bike is in Bentonville sadly so we will have to wait till the end of this week to get that. So right now we are walking! It's been fun though, because we've been able to talk to more people that way. However we can only walk around Miami and it's a lot of walking haha but I love being here! :)  My companion is Sister Knight and she's from South Ogden Utah and has been out 6 Months. She has been in three areas as well and we get along great!
