NEW ADVENTURES! October 29, 2018

Oh boy oh boy! It's only been 5 days since I last emailed and so much has happened!! I am in a trio right now with Sister Buhler and Sister Clayburn (she's waiting for her companion who comes tomorrow night) and so we are covering both areas. Woohoo! Lots of driving, but it's been fun because I've been able to learn the areas and drive the Greenwood sisters truck (: other things that have happened this week... we gave a man we are teaching a couch, got referrals, went to two ward Halloween parties, taught lots of people in both areas, we saw a pet pig, I moved into a mansion, I dropped my phone in the toilet, we did Zumba for morning exercise, lots of service, made many u-turns, got lost, got free food, went to a Jason Deere concert, and had lots of fun!!! I'm sure there's a lot more I'm missing from these past few days but those are some of the highlights. It's been really fun getting to know lots of new people.
Van Buren is a branch and it's only been a year since it became one. The people are wonderful!! I'm so excited to work with them. Also, sister Buhler is so great!! I'm very glad we get to be companions. Sister Clayburn is a hoot too!

On a more spiritual note, we went to the Jason Deere concert and the spirit was so strong! He is the writer/singer in Nashville Tribute Band. They are members of the church and they sing about Church history and Christian music. Towards the very end he had all the missionaries come up and sing the song "I was born" it was so cool!! It was such a tender moment as we were all singing about how we all came from different places around the world, but we are all here with the same purpose to bring souls to Christ. Ah. I loved it!! Its so true though! We are here to help gather the scattered Israel whether on a mission or not. It's the good news that we share and we need to make sure we are sharing it!! Don't be afraid to open your mouths and share what you love about the gospel and our Savior Jesus Christ. I'm so grateful to have this opportunity to be here in Arkansas sharing the love of God with everyone. Thank you so much for all your love and support! It means so much to me!! It definitely helps having the support from back home. :)
I hope y'all have a wonderful week!! Dont forget to share the good news!!

SMALL AND SIMPLE January 21, 2019

Hello friends and family!  It has been an adventure of a week, that's for sure! We had a super fun last night at Bob and Wanda's. Some of the people from Prairie Grove came down to hear me sing again. It was sad saying goodbye to everyone, but I know Heavenly Father has a plan for me. Then we went to the Senior center on Tuesday and delivered meals to 66 different houses! That was fun running around and giving people meals. They were a lot more open and excited to see us, that's for sure :) Haha! Then we had my last group lesson Tuesday night. We did the Book of Mormon experiment and had everyone take a page from the Book of Mormon and then highlight every time it mentions the Savior and things that stood out to you. We had an amazing discussion and everyone participated in it. So good!! Wednesday I packed and said goodbye to more people, I definitely miss Van Buren. But. Thursday I made it safely to MOUNTAIN HOME!! woohoo!! I met my new companion sister Chandler and she ...

ROUTE 66 April 25, 2018

This week we had Zone Conference and went on exchanges in Joplin again. It was a blast! We enjoyed learning so much from our mission president and his wife. Good things are happening and I love it! We talked a lot about personal revelation as well. It's very important for us to recognize how Heavenly Father speaks to us so that we can act on the things we are prompted to do. So many good things, I'm not even sure what to tell you! haha  My wonderful companion and I went and played volleyball with our investigator, we just rode by and they were out playing so we joined them and Sister Najera went to hit the ball and I was talking with our investigator and she nailed me in the head. It was so funny! Luckily it was a soft ball, but it just reminded me of the times playing volleyball with the YSA back home. We also met the guy who owns the little Dairy King in commerce which is a landmark on Route 66. It was so cool! He had previously met with missionaries and has read the who...
