JESUS CHRIST IS JOY November 5, 2018

Hey y'all!!

I'm still alive and loving it down here in Van Buren Arkansas (: we've been having a lot of fun. I feel like Sister Buhler and I are always laughing. It's so great! A lot happened this week so hopefully I can sum it up for ya. We sang at Bob and Wanda's, went to Bentonville, saw S.Rosenberg and S. Wamsley, Claire Swaney is in our mission now (I worked with her at straws), Halloween with the Theobalds (games and treats and 7 kids), interviews with President Strong, saw the Vines from Prairie Grove, danced while volunteering, getting lost again..., line dancing, finding people who haven't been to church in a long time, 1st branch council, asked to give a talk, church is next to bluebell creameries, eating oreo balls, singing songs in southern accents, making jokes, meeting new people, literally running into my companion, and finding JOY. it's been so much fun getting to know more people here. There are wonderful members of this branch and amazing people in this area! They are so nice!

We are working with two people right now who are preparing for baptism hopefully this month. It's amazing to talk with the other members of the branch who have seen them change. They saw them when they first starting coming and compared to know they have changed a lot. It's amazing how as we learn and fully understand the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can be changed. We remember everything that He did for each of us, and because of Him, we can be forgiven, we can start again, we can become the sons and daughters of God who Heavenly Father intends us to be. I've learned so much about my Savior on my mission and it has truly changed the person I am and who I want to become. Having faith in Him brings me JOY. I know that He is watching out for me and cares about the things I do. I love this gospel so much! I'm so grateful to be here sharing it with others. People notice everything we do, and so we should all be trying to represent our Savior in the best way possible.

I love you all!! Thank you for your love and support!! I hope y'all have a FANTASTIC/FUN/EVENTFUL/CHRIST-CENTERED week!!

Hey Y'all!!  This week was sooo good!! There are so many things that happened I don't know where to start. Last week on Pday we went to the Walmart Museum which was really cool! It was fun learning about the history, plus the best part was the ice cream at the end haha :) Then on Tuesday we went on exchanges and I went with Sister Buttars who is super funny and it was cool seeing her area of the mission. Funny story: One night this week we had dinner with a family and they didn't have dessert which we thought was great because we get fed so much. Then we went walking in a neighborhood visiting some members and we stopped at three houses. All three said, would you like a cookie?? So we had lots of cookies haha it was fun though. One of those houses was our mission president, because they are in our ward so that was fun :) Thursday we went to the mission office and got a Tiwi.. it's the thing that monitors our cars and ours has been broken until now. It took some gett...

OKLAHOMA ADVENTURES November 27, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving on Thursday ! My companion and I were nicely fed by our new Bishop and his family. It was so nice! It's been an adventure shotgunning this area with two new missionaries. The area is huge here, but the members are few. Also, we don't have a car yet and we aren't sure if we will get one and my bike is in Bentonville sadly so we will have to wait till the end of this week to get that. So right now we are walking! It's been fun though, because we've been able to talk to more people that way. However we can only walk around Miami and it's a lot of walking haha but I love being here! :)  My companion is Sister Knight and she's from South Ogden Utah and has been out 6 Months. She has been in three areas as well and we get along great! We've been really working hard to get to know all the members and get to know the area since we are both new and there haven't been missionaries since J...
