MERRY CHRISTMAS!! December 24, 2018

It's been an adventure of a week! 

It started with our fun skit lesson we did with the elders. We have a family that feeds us every Tuesday and her sister lives in the Alma ward and her niece is being taught by the Elders so they asked if we could all do a lesson together at the church so we did! We (missionaries) acted out the scene of 1st Nephi when they go and get the plates. It was so much fun! It was a great to bring the scriptures to life and they all loved it. Plus, I got to be Laman and Lemuel so that was fun. After the skit we had a discussion about the faith that Nephi had for them to get the plates and how Laman and Lemuel repented from rebelling and they had to act on their faith as well. It was really special because then the lady who feeds us, both of her sisters aren't members and they were talking about baptism and learning more as well. So amazing!!! It was a great night. We are going to have another big lesson with them on Wednesday and I'll let y'all know how it goes! 

Some other fun things we did this week was we went caroling, sang in church, got onesie Christmas Pajamas, sang at Bob and Wanda's, caught marshmallows in our mouths, did a big service project, gave two families gifts (secret santa), and cooked lots of food. 

We did service with a member and her non member co-worker. The elders were talking about a lesson they had the night before and asked for advice on how to address one of her concerns and the person we want to start teaching was asking lots of questions and then started giving us feedback on how to address the concern. It was so cool! She hasn't been taught all the lessons, but she believes so much and understand that God has a plan for each of us and that we did live with Him before this life. It was amazing to see her testifying of those things to us. We are now going to start teaching her and it's so amazing! I know that Heavenly Father has been preparing her for this.

Also, we had an AMAZING special sacrament meeting yesterday!! So, we've been a little upset because we haven't seen much of the work we've been doing pay off so we were really nervous about church, but it was so great!! We have been trying so hard to invite people to come and they always have an excuse not to come, but they CAME!!! We had such a great turn out and it was such a spiritual meeting. We had a lot of musical numbers (we sang 3 songs! So fun) and then our branch president spoke in the end about acting in faith for what we believe in. It was really good. 


Ahh, it was such a great week!! And its Christmas tomorrow! YAY!! I hope it is a wonderful day for each of y'all! I know that as we truly remember our Savior this Christmas we will have a much more meaningful day. He is the reason for the season and I am so grateful we get to focus on and remember Him!! I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that it is because of Him that we can feel love, peace, and JOY! He is the source of all good things.

Temple Tuesday November 13, 2017

Hey Friends!! This week was so fun!! We had the amazing opportunity to go to the St.Louis temple this week! I loved it so much! I am so grateful we were able to go because we don't have on in our mission, but blessed with the best mission president :) We also had a fun time with our zone this week and did interviews with our mission president and his wife. They are such great people with lots of advice for us missionaries, I love it!  Something amazing that happened this week was we had exchanges with the traveling sisters (they go around the mission visiting all the sisters) and so there were four sisters just in our area, but it was the busiest day of the week! We had so many lessons that with each companionship we didn't have any gaps of time. It was such a cool miracle because we were able to teach so many people and have such a great experience. GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES December 4, 2017

Hey everyone!! This week has been so great for the sister missionaries in Miami Oklahoma! So many good things are happening and it's wonderful! We've been able to see a lot of miracles happen. First, we were able to go to Bentonville this week for our Christmas Zone Conference which was amazing! So many good things were said and I was able to get my bike! So we can finally take a break from walking! haha But we were able to go serve and teach a few people in Baxter Springs Kansas so now I am officially a 4-state missionary, exciting :)  We've been doing service at the Coleman Theater which is an amazing theater built in the 1920s and it's beautiful! It's been fun serving there as well as the Dobson house and museum which is all about the history of Miami and a cute families home that is over 100 years old! I LOVE THE SABBATH DAY!! August 6, 2017

If you were to ask me what my favorite day of the week was I think I'd have to say SUNDAY! So many amazing things happen on Sunday and we get to go to church and partake of the sacrament. It's seriously the best day ever :)  Yesterday we had some amazing things happen at church. We got a referral Saturday for a 16 year old boy named Fernando (name has been changed by S.Rosenberg)  and he was so excited to meet us and come to church. So we got him a ride and he came! It was our first time meeting him and at first he was very shy and a little uncomfortable being somewhere he had never been before, but throughout church his mind changed. Our testimony meeting was so wonderful! There were many testimonies given on the power of prayer and acting on promptings. He said after that, that this was going to be his church and he felt like he was home. He even brought up being baptized!
